July 4th Weekend

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend of food, outdoors and fireworks. Jason's mom came to visit, so Avery really liked seeing her Nona!

Avery received this phone that can record your voice (put mama's on) from her Great Aunt and Uncle and cousins, Chris, Don, Andrew and Emily. She was saying hello and having her own conversation, so had to post this.

Avery's 1st Bday

We had a great long weekend for Avery's birthday, she is pretty lucky that her birthday will fall on Memorial Day weekend for most years. My brother and parents came to visit and we celebrated with a bday party with my family, our friends and Avery's little buddies:) Here are a few pics, will try to post her happy bday video.

Mother's Day

I had the best mother's day and I feel truly blessed and lucky to be Avery's "ma ma." Jason made me breakfast, french toast, my favorite, then all three of us went to the farmer's market, church (Avery slept in bjorn on Jason throughout the entire mass), walked around and then got Shafer and went to the stairs, had to get some mommy time with him too:) Thank you to Morty for the adorable dress for Avery.

Toddlerpalooza!

Avery, Jason and I went to an outdoor fair called Toddlerpalooza in the Palisades. We met Kristen, Tommy and Dylan there. Avery saw an owl, played with blow up toys, balls, listened to music and cracked up at me doing a hula hoop!

Avery started walking, went to her first Yankees game

Avery started walking on her own! I came back from a business trip to find her walking all around the house. She was so excited with her new skill that she did not want to go to bed, she just wanted to keep walking and walking all around her room, so cute! We took Avery to her first Yankees game, they were playing the Angels. She was fantastic, hung out in our laps, cheered and walked around.

Moira Visits!

Morty came to visit us in Santa Monica on April 16 weekend. She is about 5 months pregnant and she looks great! We had a such a good time and I am so glad she got to spend some time with Avery.
